Washington Technology Names Ascellon Corporation One of the “Fast 50”
September 17, 2007 Washington
Technology, a national newspaper for government IT systems
integrators and resellers, has once again designated Ascellon
Corporation of Landover and Baltimore, Maryland, as one of their
“Fast 50.” This is the 21st year that Washington Technology has
awarded the Fast 50 to recognize the explosive growth of
companies within government contracting areas such as systems
integration, professional services, engineering and software
development.
To qualify, companies needed to
have a minimum of $100,000 in government revenue in 2002. They
also had to meet the federal government criteria for a small
business or be a member of the 8(a) program. 2007’s Fast 50
award was based on performance between 2002 and 2006. Washington
Technology then ranked the qualifying companies by their
compound annual growth rate. Ascellon managed to rise 7 spots
since its last ranking in 2005.
Washington Technology’s
website states, “The companies making this year’s list have in
common a stellar track record for growth in the federal market.”
Ascellon and other winning companies were also featured in a
special issue of Washington Technology published September 17,
2007.
Ascellon Corporation, formerly
CompTech Associates, delivers superior management support,
program management, and information technology services to the
Federal Government, as well as to public and private
organizations.
