CompTech Associates Awarded HUBZone GWAC for Custom Computer Programming Services
Thursday, January 09, 2003 The General Services Administration (GSA) awarded CompTech Associates, Inc. (CompTech), a Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) for Custom Computer Programming Services under its HUBZone GWAC.
Contract awards were made to 36 technology firms who are certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) firms. The awarded firms represent the seven Functional Areas (FAs), designated by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). CompTech was awarded a contract under FA4 (NAICS 541511), Custom Computer Programming Services, which comprises Database Design/
Generation, Legacy Interfaces/Data Migration, Software Development/Testing, and Web Design. Providing worldwide geographic coverage, this solutions-based GWAC consists of a two-year base period with three one-year option periods and a $2.5-billion program ceiling. All GSA Contracting Officers (COs) and other agency COs can use the GWAC upon request.
